The second part of the programme, originally featuring Rachmaninov's The Isle of the Dead and Scriabin's Symphony No. 4, will be replaced by Tchaikovsky's Symphony No. 5. The planned Poème de l’extase was part of the series of complete performances and recordings of Scriabin’s symphonies—a project Brussels Philharmonic and Kazushi Ono are working on together.
