In the 24-25 season, we not only bring you extraordinary concert experiences but also create new works. Our orchestra's soloists will collaborate closely with a Belgian composer of their choice, who will compose a piece tailored specifically for our musicians and the Brussels Philharmonic. You’ll be able to experience the premiere of these unique creations in the concert hall with us.
The first in this series will be presented in the spring of 2025: a posthumous timpani concerto by Wim Henderickx. Before his passing, he worked closely with our percussionist, Gert François, on a piece that takes you on a journey through time, dedicated to and for the percussion section.
