One of the premier conferences in the international classical music scene will take place in April in Bruges. No fewer than five hundred professionals will gather for three days to seek inspiration at the 33rd edition of the International Artist Managers Association (IAMA) Conference.
The event features a comprehensive programme that includes lectures, panel discussions, performances, and dinners, filling each day with activities for all international attendees. A highlight of the event will be a concert by the Brussels Philharmonic, conducted by Music Director Kazushi Ono, on April 30th at the Concertgebouw Brugge.
IAMA Conference 2024 - Thierry De Mey contrasts Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker's choreography with the Aral Sea tragedy in Prélude à la mer. Toshio Hosokawa's Blossoming II blends Western and Eastern cultures for a unique musical blossoming. Bartók's Concerto for Orchestra showcases each instrument in a 20th-century masterpiece.
