Fabio Trümpy (Switzerland) studied in Amsterdam and is recipient of the Prix des Amis du Festival d’Art Lyrique in Aix-en-Provence. He is a former member of the Opernhaus Zürich and Opera Studio Nederland. Recent highlights include the title role in Prometeo by Antonio Draghi at Opéra de Dijon, Oronte in a new production of Alcina by Katie Mitchell at the Bolshoi Theatre in Moscow as well as for Hamburgische Staatsoper. Furthermore, he performed Bach’s Trauerode with the Gulbenkian Orchestra and performed at the Grand Théâtre Genève and Staatsoper Berlin. Trümpy has worked with many renowned orchestras including Sinfonieorchester des Bayerischen Rundfunks, Freiburg Barockorchester, Tonhalle Orchester Zürich, Orchestre de la Suisse Romande and the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra; with conductors such as James Gaffigan, Hervé Niquet, David Zinman, Marc Minkowski and Leonardo García Alarcón.
