Although they may initially appear worlds apart, Bach, Stravinsky, and Saariaho all share an extraordinary mastery of color and mood. Each of these composers reimagines elements from the past in a unique way.
While Bach delves into classical mythology, Stravinsky weaves new compositions using historical musical styles. In Terra Memoria, Saariaho reflects on her personal journey as a composer, and in Verblendungen, she adds a fresh layer of innovation to the classical string ensemble. An exhilarating musical exploration awaits!
