After last season’s jubilee edition, with the cello front and centre for the first time, we are now returning to the instrument with which the Competition began 82 years ago: the violin.

Who the laureates will be and which concerto they will chose in this year’s edition is of course still unknown, but a chance to hear these top young talents live and without the stress of competition is always a unique experience.

Johannes Brahms • Violin Concerto in D, op. 77 (soloist: Stephen Kim)
Max Bruch • Violin Concerto No. 1 in g, op. 26 (soloist: Timothy Chooi)
Ludwig van Beethoven • Violin Concerto in D, op. 61 (soloist: Stella Chen)
