Those who’ve attended before will confirm it: this is the way to celebrate classical music. From soloist to full orchestra, from young to old, from well known to completely new sounds: Iedereen Klassiek plunges everyone and everything in a joyful bath of classical music.
Once again Brussels Philharmonic will be closing the festivities. In complete contrast to the cool climate of their heimat, the music of Jean Sibelius and Edvard Grieg radiates a warm glow. In Finlandia and his highly popular Violin Concerto, Sibelius combines a typically northern feel with the passion and melancholy of Romanticism. One of the most beautiful melodies is to be found in Grieg's almost cinematic, fairy-tale-based Peer Gynt.
